Appraisal

有一位朋友將一首歌譜上了新的歌詞，表達了他對做工作評估(appraisal)的感受，我想這也是他對任職的公司的看法。這首歌是Wham 的Last Christmas ﹕

Last Christmas~ I worked with my heart~ but the very next day~ you gave it away
This year to save me from tears I don’t want to fill my appraisal~

Last Christmas~ my bonus was half~ and the very next day~ I spent all away~

去年不少公司都受到金融海嘯影響，難以發放花紅或雙糧給員工，令不少員工都失望。不過這位朋友似乎不單對去年只收到一半雙糧失望，其實對於過去在工作上的努力，沒有被公司欣賞更失望。

打工仔做好一份工，除了希望得到合理報酬外，亦希望公司賞識，表示欣賞。人是人，並不是機器，是有感受的。
